Week 11

December 23, 2011- December 29, 2011

This is another photo bomb because we have been a busy family with everyone in town and Brinlee celebrated her very first Christmas!

We celebrated Nana's birthday!

Aunt Kris started teaching Brinlee how to cook ;o)



I took family photos on the beach.

 Brinlee got The Night Before Christmas for Christmas Eve and we made gingerbread men!

Brinlee celebrated her FIRST CHRISTMAS!!!

We started off the morning with breakfast and Skyped with Grandma in Texas then we went to church with Great Grandma then we came home and opened our presents!

For Christmas Aunt Kris and Uncle Robin got everyone tshirts that say Doyle Invasion 2011 on them and we took our group photo!

When all the festivities were over, we came home and Daddy danced with Brinlee!

Week Ten

December 16, 2011- December 22, 2011

Prepare to be photo bombed! Brinlee had an exciting week this week!

She finally got to meet Brian's family!

 

Brinlee got to put her feet in the ocean for the first time. Yes, in December... It was that warm. She didn't seem to really care. She just made a funny face at first.

 And since we were at Fort Desoto, Brian suggested that I get a picture like my maternity pictures with Brinlee.

On December 18, we had Brinlee's dedication at church since we had Brian's family in town. It was a beautiful ceremony.

Then on the 19th, we went to Naples to be with family for Christmas!

 Brinlee got to spend more time with her great grandma who had her 92nd birthday celebration while we were in Naples.

We went on a nature walk and saw a mama alligator with at least 4 of her babies! (Yes, Brinlee was there but since there were mosquitoes out she stayed in her stroller.)

I had a Doctors appointment on the 23rd so we had a mini-family Christmas on the 22nd with just the three of us.

Week Nine

December 9, 2011- December 15, 2011

Brinlee turned two months old!

And she had to get her first round of shots. :(

It was heartbreaking seeing her cry like that but I ended up crying more than she did.

Her head control got even better.

We made Brinlee's Build A Bear. Brian and I made them for our wedding so we had to get Brinlee one too!

We went to our first couple of Christmas parties!

One with our friends who were moving to Washington DC. 

The other party was with our church group, The Foundry!

Week Eight

December 2, 2011- December 8, 2011

Brinlee started sticking her tounge out a lot!

And she is a really happy, smily baby!



Daddy wanted to see if she would stick her tounge out at him but instead she looked at him like he was crazy!

Brinlee learned out to suck her thumb! This is the first time ever!
